Description of Services
clever-aurora provides premium vehicle hire services, including executive sedan rental, luxury SUV hire, sports car rental, corporate fleet solutions, airport transfers, and chauffeur services. All services are subject to availability and these Terms of Use.
Eligibility
To hire a vehicle from clever-aurora, you must:
- Be at least 25 years of age (30 for sports vehicles)
- Hold a valid, current driver's licence for a minimum of 3 years
- Possess a credit card in your name for security deposit
- Provide valid identification and proof of address
- Meet all criteria specified in the rental agreement
Booking and Payment
Reservations
Submitting a booking request through our website does not guarantee vehicle availability. All bookings are subject to confirmation by our team. A binding agreement is formed only upon our written confirmation and receipt of the required deposit.
Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured for that reservation.
Payment
Full payment is required prior to vehicle collection unless alternative arrangements have been made for corporate accounts. We accept major credit cards and electronic bank transfers.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund
- Cancellations made 24-48 hours before pickup: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund
- No-shows: No refund and full booking amount charged
We reserve the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided or an alternative vehicle offered.
Vehicle Use
When hiring a vehicle from clever-aurora, you agree to:
- Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes
- Not permit any unauthorised driver to operate the vehicle
- Not use the vehicle for racing, driver training, or any competition
- Not transport passengers for hire or reward without authorisation
- Not smoke in the vehicle
- Not transport animals without prior approval
- Not tow other vehicles or trailers
- Not modify or tamper with the vehicle in any way
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
- Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at collection
Insurance and Liability
All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance. However, the hirer is responsible for:
- The excess amount as specified in the rental agreement
- Any damage caused through negligence or breach of these terms
- Fines incurred during the rental period (traffic, parking, toll violations)
- Any costs arising from loss of keys
Optional excess reduction products are available at the time of booking.
Damage and Accidents
In the event of an accident or damage:
- Do not admit fault or liability
- Obtain details of all parties involved
- Report the incident to police if required by law
- Contact clever-aurora immediately
- Complete an incident report form

- Use automated systems to access the website without permission
- Transmit any malicious code or harmful content
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, clever-aurora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant booking.
Indemnification
